Overview
MATRIX is the top of the ZOGAL range. At 50 m² of living space, it matches our other large models in size — but goes further in engineering, customization, and finish potential. What makes MATRIX unique is the ability to configure room layouts to match your specific way of living. The structural system is designed to support multiple internal arrangements without compromising the building envelope or load-bearing performance. This is a house for people who want control over every aspect of their home, built with the highest standards we apply to any model.
Key Benefits
Customizable room layouts
MATRIX is engineered to allow different internal room configurations. Unlike most modular houses with fixed floor plans, MATRIX adapts to how you want to live — from open-plan studio to multi-room arrangement.
Premium engineering throughout
The structural system, insulation specification, and connection details in MATRIX represent our most advanced construction approach. Every element is calculated for long-term performance and comfort.
Highest finish potential
MATRIX with the Design interior package and premium furniture represents the pinnacle of factory-built living. The combination of spatial flexibility and elevated finishes creates an experience comparable to architect-designed custom homes.
Built for the long term
MATRIX is designed as a permanent, high-performance dwelling. The materials, insulation, and structural approach are chosen for decades of maintenance-free operation.
Who Is the MATRIX For?
MATRIX is for buyers who demand the best from modular construction:
- Professionals who want a bespoke-quality home without the timeline of custom construction
- Design-conscious homeowners who need control over their floor plan
- Families looking for a premium permanent residence with customizable spaces
- Property developers creating high-end rental or demonstration properties
- Tech-forward buyers who value innovation in construction
- Anyone who has outgrown standard modular house limitations
Layout and Floor Plan
MATRIX's defining feature is layout flexibility. The 50 m² floor plan can be configured to suit different lifestyles — from a large open-plan space for someone who values flow and openness, to a multi-room arrangement with a separate bedroom, office, and living area. The bathroom position is fixed for plumbing efficiency, but the remaining space can be divided according to your needs. This is possible because MATRIX uses a structural system where the outer envelope carries the loads, freeing the interior from structural wall constraints. Windows and entry points are positioned to work with multiple layout options.
Materials and Build Quality
MATRIX uses the highest specification available in our factory. C24-grade structural timber, full Steico wood fiber insulation system, and MiTek pressed metal connections are the foundation — but MATRIX goes further with an enhanced structural approach that enables interior layout flexibility without compromising rigidity or thermal performance. The facade accepts all standard ZOGAL cladding options. The Design interior finish package for MATRIX features our most refined material selections — surfaces, fixtures, and details chosen for both aesthetics and durability. This is a house built to satisfy people who know what quality looks like.

MATRIX is manufactured at our facility in Riga and delivered as a modular unit across Europe. Depending on the transport route, it may travel as one module or two connected sections — our logistics team handles all planning. The advanced structural system means that on-site assembly of multi-section deliveries results in the same quality as a single-module unit. Installation by our crew takes 2–5 working days. We provide complete foundation specifications, and for MATRIX, our engineering team is available for direct consultation to ensure everything is optimally prepared before delivery.

FAQ
Why is MATRIX more expensive than AURELIA and ANIX?
MATRIX uses an advanced structural system that enables interior layout customization — something fixed-layout models cannot offer. The engineering, production complexity, and material specification behind this flexibility account for the price difference. It's our most sophisticated construction approach.
What layout options are available in MATRIX?
MATRIX can be configured as an open-plan studio, a two-room layout (bedroom + living area), or a multi-room arrangement (bedroom + office + living area). The bathroom position remains fixed. Discuss specific layout needs with our team during the configuration process.
Can I change the layout after installation?
The interior partition system is designed to be adaptable. While the exterior structure is permanent, internal walls can be repositioned within the system's parameters. This is a significant advantage over traditional construction where changing room layouts means structural work.
How does MATRIX compare to a custom-built architect home?
MATRIX delivers comparable customization and finish quality at a fraction of the time. A custom home takes 12–24 months; MATRIX is ready in approximately 2–3 months. The trade-off is that MATRIX works within a 50 m² footprint, while custom builds have no size limit.
Is MATRIX suitable as a primary residence?
Absolutely. MATRIX is fully insulated, structurally engineered for permanent use, and available with premium interior finishes. Many clients choose MATRIX specifically as their primary home because it delivers bespoke-level quality without the long wait and cost uncertainty of custom construction.
What warranty covers the MATRIX layout system?
The flexible layout system is covered under the standard 5-year structural warranty. Interior partitions and finishing elements carry the 2-year finish warranty. Extended warranties up to 10 years are available for structural components.
Can I visit the factory to see MATRIX being built?
Yes. We welcome factory visits by appointment at our 3,000 m² facility in Riga. You can see the production process, inspect materials, and discuss your specific MATRIX configuration with our engineering team in person.
Does MATRIX include smart home features?
The base module includes electrical preparation that can accommodate smart home wiring. Specific smart home systems (lighting control, heating automation, security) can be discussed during the configuration process. Our Design finish package is compatible with most standard smart home platforms.
